random question for the bored: when you log in, does your board change to light blue banners for a split second before switching back to the regular blue? Mine does and it has slowly become one of those things that is deeply upsetting to me for no reason. like when a single pixel misfires momentarily when you boot up a monitor. welp gotta get a new one now, this is unacceptable!

Haha no i havent noticed that!
I was having a prob a couple weeks ago when the board crashed, I had to log in on Firefox rather then Chrome. I was logging in w my email. Chrome wouldnt except it. Then I tried with BSMB and it worked, but Firefox worked both ways, like IMS goes both ways

Is there a way to turn of the "quick quote" feature when you highlight something? If I do it here, it means I'm going to right click-google search, but that stupid pop-up button gets in my way.

i have never noticed that but it really does persist once you highlight some text. neat?

I've used it a time or two. Never had the issue with it bothering me on a right-click, but I guess I can see how that might be annoying if you're regularly highlighting text from someone's post to google search it.
It does look like it's a plugin that we can turn on/off for the whole board, but I don't think there's a user-controlled setting for it. I have no issue with turning it off if no one is opposed.
