In my experience that is absolutely not a thing with kids.
I’ve heard of it on the internet but have never seen it in my kids schools or had anyone I know IRL mention it. Affinity groups are very much a thing in the corporate world, though. WolfCo calls them “Associate Resource Groups” or ARGs. It’s pretty gay.
I watched a bit of CNN last night to receive the updated situation on Ukraine.
They did a story on a Ukrainian citizen who had emigrated from Cameroon who believed she was discriminated against by the Polish government at the border because she was Black.
I dont really care about this take by her. Its expected. I am happy though that she found this angle and went with it. Since Russia invaded, MSNBC has sucked. They havent been able to cry racism and Jan 6th nearly as much, and thus its quite boring.
