This is mostly aimed at UEM because I know you pay attention to this stuff, but others feel free to chime in--who do you think are the most trustworthy "mainstream" news people? For the sake of this, let's say mainstream is pretty broad, include over to like Ben Shapiro on the right and whichever rando for MSNBC that Balls is yelling about on the left.

Primarily, I watch CNN because I think that they are trying to get to the reasonable/middle with their news programs with the clear exceptions of Brian Stetler, Don Lemon, and Chris Cuomo.
Erin Burnett is my news crush. She is center-left but I think that she is more interested in questions than agendas.
S.E. Cupp was fantastic until Trump broke her.
I think that Van Jones is interesting as hell and almost always provides an interesting perspective even if, at times, I disagree.
John King was a wizard on the election maps.
Chris Wallace is mostly a straight up news guy, but when he goes off the rails, he really goes off.
I don't see a lot of him but Lester Holt is widely respected, I hear.
While I would fact-check everything that he says, Tucker Carlson is the best there is right now for three-minute YouTube clips that infuriate or please, depending on your side of the aisle. I wouldn't call him 'trustworthy', per se.
Brian Williams, despite the one huge gaffe, is pretty solid, to me.
Norah O'Donnell is good from the limited times that I've watched news in the morning which is way rare.
Megyn Kelly is really tough on people that she disagrees with so I appreciate that, but she is soooooooo tone deaf on so many issues.
Shapiro is the best at selling the conservative opinions and stances but he plays a lot of tricks with words and numbers.
Isn't it a little racist to call it Black Friday? - Joy Behar

We watched a lot of CNN's coverage of election night and they seemed to be pretty much down the middle with how they reported things. We flipped over to NBC a couple times since I do like looking at several of their woman reporters (as previously mentioned) and their coverage was all over the place. I feel like MSNBC gets a rap for being super liberal but I think they're fine for the most part. Is Chris Matthews still on there? I think he might've been the most openly liberal of their regular folks (Olbermann excluded).

Chris Matthews got cancelled for #metoo stuff I think.
I watched a fair amount of CNN as well. I think even Chris Cuomo was pretty objective from what I saw.
With NBC Savanah Guthrie and Lester Holt seemed to have some animosity to that Republican woman they had on. I thought Chuck Todd was pretty fair.

Chuck Todd gets roasted on the twitters for not being liberal enough. I feel like he's pretty good as well.
In my experience most of the networks play election night as close to the vest as possible on election night to not give off any "cheering for a certain candidate" vibes.
