sides: grilled asparagus lil bit of seafood mac and cheese
ciagr: rocky patel edge lite
judge me
That looks like a great place and a fine meal.
I would not have ordered a ribeye, as they are not my favorite cut. I have plenty of friends that love them, so that is just a matter of personal choice.
Good wine list there. I would have suggested a malbec to pair with the steak.

I went to this place on Saturday for the white's birthday. It was really good. Menu for #s to judge:
appetizer: meatballs. they were good as hell. came with this piece of bread that was the best tasting bread i think i've ever had. which, it's just bread, but still! i had an old fashioned. white had the fancy tequila drink (tear down this wall on the menu) that tasted like sour mix to me. she liked it though.
interlude: i have a martini, she has a vodka soda
A miami skank showed up during this time and was waiting at the bar for her date. the white pointed her out to me because of her shirt, it was a little piece of fabric on the front and the back was a couple of gold chains linked together. Makeup applied with a shotgun. She was probably like 23. i am talking a lot of shit about her but she was extremely hot and i spent the time she was there trying very hard not to look in her direction.
Dinner: we had the fennel sausage pizza and the guanciale pizza. the guanciale one...maybe my favorite pizza i've ever had? very strong olive taste but it was really good. so, to recap, highly recommend the food at this place, it was excellent. and really reasonably priced for a downtown restaurant in a resort hotel.
i had another titos/soda.
after that we walked around downtown a little while, man i forgot how much it smells like horse piss. real romantic stuff.
We went up to this place next to have a couple beers from Edmund's Oast. They were fine. Then we went home, an enjoyable evening had.

We (me, wife, kids, MIL, BIL and his fiancée and her giant 26 year old tits, wife’s aunt and her husband) enjoyed a meal in celebration of Wolfette’s birthday at a pretty OK restaurant in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Theny knows where I mean. Twas called The Garlic. It was an Italian place, I guess, but nothing about the atmosphere felt at all like an Italian restaurant. That doesn’t make any sense and I’m not gonna try to explain it.
They had delicious fresh baked bread with roasted garlic. I’d have happily eaten like three loaves of that as a meal, but decided to eat other stuff too. We had some calimari, family-style Caesar salad, I enjoyed the seafood Italiano as my entree, and tried a few bites of the pork osso bucco that BIL’s fiancée didn’t finish (that’s what I’m ordering if I ever go back). I also partook in a couple tree glasses of something called Three Finger Jack cabernet. mj, thoughts?
This place was fucking packed. They opened at 4:00 and had a line out the door by 4:15. We left at like 6 and it looked like the wait was well over an hour at that point. Clearly a popular spot. It was really good, and I’d definitely go back, but I don’t think I’d wait all night for a table if I didn’t get there early.

I was unfamiliar with Three Finger Jack Cabernet. It is from Lodi, California which is producing a lot of acclaimed wines recently. I hope you enjoyed it.
That was NOT the post I thought you were going to write.
Same. I realize he answered the question that was specifically directed to him, which I appreciate. But Twas jarring nonetheless, considering the other content of my post.
Start with a simple seasoning on both sides of the chicken breasts. Grease the chicken breasts with cooking spray or oil, then season with salt, fresh ground pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika and dried basil. This dry mix of herbs and spices adds a wonderful zing and flavor to the chicken breasts.
In the meantime, heat up vegetable oil or canola oil in a large skillet.
When oil is hot, add chicken breasts to the pan. Cook two chicken breasts at a time because you don’t want to overcrowd your skillet.
Cook chicken breasts for 5 to 7 minutes without moving them around.
Flip the chicken breasts over. Add a tablespoon of butter to the skillet, and continue to cook for 7 more minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165F. Cooking time will always depend on the thickness of the chicken breasts.
Rest. When finished, transfer chicken breasts to a cutting board. Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.

Boom roasted.
That looks good bsmb. My stove top cooking is limited. I just grill everything. I should try that.
